4/28 2:30pm Megan's doctor says her recovery is the 1 to beat. The feeding tube came out and one chest tube is going tonight. Megan was interviewed today by Kay Quinn (Ch 5) and the hospital video team. Channel 5 will air tonight. Meg is going to bed for an afternoon nap. I may join her in the next bed.

  1. I have been following and praying for a little bit now and when the news came that night after the fast it was so amazing. I attend World Revival Church in KC MO, and they have a House of Hope and Healing and that is how I came across Megan's story. I am so amazed and so thrilled for your whole family and the others reading her story to see that our Father Abba is real and He is very much alive and active in our midst! I think about you often Megan and one day I will meet you. Sorry, my name is Kelly and I look forward to hearing and seeing all the other good reports you post! Have a blessed and loving night.

  2. I have been following and praying for Megan since April 8th when I first heard about it from a young lady who attended the same college as Megan. Right away, I sent a prayer request to my church, Journey Church, in Troy, Mo. We have an amazing group of people there, and the pastor, Jesse Quiroz, got a team praying for her immediately. The day Megan got her heart, the pastor talked about how God answers prayers. My husband had just gone through a tough surgery and they had been praying for him also. He called me up in front of the congregation and asked me about my husband and I was able to tell them that he had come through with flying colors and was doing very well. He then asked me about Megan and I was SO excited to announce that she had been blessed with a donor heart that day, the last possible day and was at that very moment in surgery receiving her new heart. It was a very inspirational moment to say the least. God had answered some major prayers that week and it showed me more than ever before, just how AWESOME our GOD is. I can't wait to check on her progress each day. I am totally inspired by this miraculous journey. I have decided to become an organ donor! My husband is aware of my wishes. I want to donate everything they can use. I can't wait to hear that Megan is at home, and thriving and ready to go back to work! Although, I think she may have a higher calling now. Her testimony will be inspirational to so many people who are on transplant lists, and those who are not. I have a feeling this young lady will lead many people to God. I will continue to pray for Megan, and I would love to meet her someday. If it is meant to be, we will meet. I will also continue to pray for the donor and their family and all of the people involved in this miraculous event. God bless Megan and of course her family and friends, who have been her rock through all of this. In Jesus name, AMEN!!!!

  3. Oh my gosh! How absolutly stunning you are! My name is Angela. I found you through a different blog I have been keeping up with. I am 16 and one year ago today I found out I was sick with restrictive cardiomyopathy. It would in the end result in a transplant. I had at max, 2 years to live. I clang to God and He was my best friend! August 13th 2009 I was told they could not find anything wrrong with my heart. They even told me and I quote "You have a normal heart!" My blog is fadinge.blogspot.com if you ever care to look. Can I share a verse with you? My ABSOLUTE favorite! Psalm 73:26 "My flesh and my heart may fail, but GOD is the strength of my heart and my portion forever!" Praying for you and Thanking Jesus for giving you the miracle of life! :D
