4:11pm Sleeping Beauty just does not want to wake up; maybe she is waiting for her prince! So, sedatives are back to let her rest until tomorrow, when they will try again. We are not to be concerned, we're told. Continued prayers are certainly appreciated. We're leaning on His everlasting arms
Wayne,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say how truly sorry I am that your little Megan is going through this right now. I have a Meghan too and I can not imagine what you and your family are experiencing. My other daughter Courtney was a donor 3 years ago at the age of 17. She died suddenly from a brain aneurysm. As difficult as it is to miss her each and every day, we have comfort knowing that God is taking special care of her and that we will see her again. It has also been special to get to know recipients of her organs and see the immense gratitude that they have for the chance at having a new life. We are grateful to God that in her death she was able to give the most precious gift that another human can give, the gift of life. God bless you and know that my family is praying for yours. I am attatching a link to her donor memorial if you care to view it in the future. I will also include a link to her website. Once again, may our great God be ever so close to your family and your precious Megan during this time and always.

You know, Megan lost a lot of sleep over the time she has been fighting this tough battle. I think she just feels so good that a little catch up sleep is in order!Everybody needs to 'sleep in' sometime:) My prayers and the prayers of those around me will continue. I am in awe of the last minute save our Great God has blessed her with! I have every faith that she is just tired and will wake soon and continue her, nothing short of miraculous, healing. God bless Megan and all who are involved in this great victory! Praise the Lord!!
ReplyDeleteWayne,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to add one more link(I truly hope you dont mind). I do not want to take any attention away from Megan. But I wanted to share the article on the front page of this past Sunday paper. It is about organ donor awareness as we are trying to do all that we can to promote it. Thanks again and God bless.

Praise God for all he has done and will continue to do! I will be praying for Megan to make a quick recovery! Just wanted to let you know that several people that I work with have been following Megan's story and it has been so exciting to explain to them that this was a miracle that only God can do! One of the cardiologists that I work with was truly amazed that she was able to receive the heart in time-I love telling people how awesome God is! Thank you for sharing her story!
ReplyDeleteMegan you are in our hearts and prayers. Joe & Leona Brooks
ReplyDeleteMy family and I are just amazed at God's awesome work! We are praying that Megan continues to improve and be able to live a normal life! Megan's story is very dear to our hearts as my dad lost his courageous battle with cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure on Sept. 25th last year! We know first hand how hard it is to see someone struggle to live! It was so painful to watch my dad gasp for air as his health declined! We are proud supporters of the American Heart Association and Mid American Transplant! We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers! God is good! God bless you all always!
ReplyDeletegetting those tamborines ready. Hugs to all.
