7:10pm Megan is about the same tonight. She does look a little better because of her fabulous nurse. She decided Megan needed a little 'lady' time and gave her a spa treatment: Lotion, painted nails, body rub, and hair-do. Kathie and Aunt Shar got in on this, too. We are so thankful for the care Megan is receiving at Barnes. Drs, nurses, fellows, everyone has been wonderful.

  1. You and Your family have many times been the ones helping others and making them feel special when things are really tough. Now, others get to bless your family.
    Still Praying!

  2. I heard about Megan's story a week ago when my bible study teacher Lorene told us about her. I'm not sure what I can say or do to help you guys out, but as a mother and a believer in christ if there is anything ya'll need please don't hesitate to ask. I pray for you and Megan that God will heal her and to help you keep up your strength through such a hard time if your lives. May God bless you and be with you this time. I hope for her arrival home soon!

  3. Megan,

My dad (Tom Reed) told me about your heart situation last night before I went to bed. You have been on my mind and in my prayers since then. Hang in there--I will keep you in my prayers and share your story's with others, so they to can be praying for you.

  4. I have everyone praying I can think of! My church is praying, my in-law's church is praying, my co-workers and friends are praying. We are bombarding the Throne of God with pleas for a new heart for Megan. I wish I could give her mine! It's slightly used but made of gold :) Please know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I share your pain and journey. I love you all so much! You must be exhausted...

  5. I've also been praying for your daughter.I learned about her serious condition from Pastor Jason and Tina Caddy on Facebook. Her story kinda hit home for me.When I was eleven I had to have open heart surgery for subaorticstenosis. This disease can come back at any time in my life and I'll have to have another surgery. If it isn't caught fast enough,it is deadly. So I have to have periodic checkups with my cardiologist. So far it hasn't grown back in thirteen years and hopefully it'll stay that way. Please tell your daughter she is in my thoughts and prayers.I know how scary this is for her and all of you but I also know how God's peace can calm the deepest of fears.
