4/20 8:30am From the mouth of the over night nurse, David, "'Remarkable', a patient who has had two assist devices & transplant in two weeks & doing this well is 'remarkable'". I said, it's 'God' and they agreed. They are beginning to wake her now so pray the extubation goes well and Megan wakes feeling like a new woman. Praise God! Check ksdk.com for several updates since Sunday on Megan.
My family and I prayed for her, she is a remarkable woman. Thank God for the heart and thank him again for keeping her here on this earth. He is not finished with her yet, God was keeping her on the shelf until the right time to bring her back down and use her for greater things. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this story. I have a friend of a friend who posted your link on Facebook. Since that day I have been following her progress. Megan and your family have been such an inspiration in so many ways. I will continue to pray for Megan and your family during this recovery period. Praise God!
ReplyDeleteI am a friend of Jon and Suzanne Rushing. Jon is the Minister of Worship at our church in Southaven, MS (right outside of Memphis). Jon has kept us up to date and told us about the new heart. I am so encouraged by the new heart and of God's perfect timing. I was born with a congenital heart defect and also have CHF and had an Ejection Fraction of 20. I was able to get on meds and my EF improved, however, we are not out of the woods and a heart transplant is still not out of the question. I am praying for Meg and your family. Your family is a living testimony.
ReplyDeleteWe found Megan's story through a friend on facebook and started praying for her last Wednesday. It's been awesome to watch God work! We are still praying along with the students and staff at the Christian school I work at! Romans 8:28 has been our prayer!

ReplyDeleteI am SO overjoyed to hear that Megan has a healthy heart!!!!! I have been praying, along with many family and friends for her every single day since I learned of her struggle to live. My friend's husband works/worked with your daughter, his name is Isaac Gregg. She posted Megan's story on Facebook, and I posted it to all my friends/family as well. We are all so thankful to God for his miracle of life for Megan. I will continue to pray for her daily. God Bless Megan and all of you!!
