10:25pm

Sitting beside Meg's bedside, reading her beautiful emails from friends and strangers, reading loving FB messages, and watching her smile. With lots of help today, she stood for a few, sat in the recliner for 2 1/2 hours. She is doing her breathing treatment every 10 minutes, and just finished leg exercises with the nurse. World, here she comes! I sing praises to Your name, oh Lord...     ~km

  2. Hi Kathie, Wayne, and Megan! It is such a joy to see how God continues to strengthen you all through this. Megan, we are continuing to pray for your recovery! ~ This morning I met with a group of moms from Westminster Christian Academy and we pray for our own children and the kids in school at WCA. Today's focus was God as the Master Planner. A familiar verse, Jeremiah 29:11, was part of our focus. Again, as in times past, I was struck by the words "I know the plans I have for you, plans for GOOD and not evil..." He plans for our GOOD! It's hard to comprehend sometimes, but I am praying that the suffering you have endured (and the suffering we endure in my own family for other reasons) will reveal God's GOODNESS to you, continually! Blessings! Debbie Dykhouse :-)

  3. Dear Megan and the Moss Family,
We have been praying for you daily. We are glad to hear that progress is being made and that God is answering prayers. You have a great faith Megan and God will wrap His arms around you to give you peaceful rest and strength. Keep trusting in Him. You are an inspiration to us all! I know that you are in a lot of pain and I have been looking for some scripture verses to give you some encouragment.
One of my favorite verses is from
Romans 5:1-5 (NIV)~ Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
May God bless you with His comfort, peace, strength, joy & hope!
    In Christ,

  5. our family has been praying for Megan for several weeks now and just wanted you to know that her story is blessing and encouraging so many others. This past week we learned that one set of our friends just received news that their 9 yr old daughter has terminal cancer and another family we are friends with found our that their 21 yr old daughter has a brain tumor. We were able to share Megan's miracle with them and it both blessed and encouraged them to believe that God can and DOES still perform miracles. God bless your family as you and Megan continue to shine for and glorify Him. Still praying for continued strength and healing.
