  1. Megan I want to wish you well on being Twiced Bless, I am a 5 year out heart transplant from a small town in SC MO now living in Arlington Texas. I became the 499 heart transplant at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. As you know everyday is a blessing and I pray you have great success with the rest of your life. You will get to the point where the "Stick in the neck" will end and soon you will start the ALLOMAP program which is a lot easier than the biopsy. You will get use to NEORAL and all the meds you will take for they are a blessing in and of themselves. All heart transplants are in a great family for we know the fear, the joy and the sadness for the sacrifice of another, but this is GOD's path for us. My prayers for you are the same that many prayed for me and my family and that is to live to the fullest with this GOD give gift. During my ordeal I kept tell all that "GOD does not take you to the top of the mountain to throw you off." We are living proof of that. Well, I hope for the best and feel free to contact me if you wish at rbg499@att.net I am on Face Book also, my best to your family adn have a great life. RB Grisham
